About Me

Tamara Hudson has spent the past eleven years in Africa.   She was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Madagascar (2000-2002) and then moved to Balaka, Malawi where she founded Chifundo Artisans’ Network, a village craft project employing 40 local artisans.

Tamara handed over the running of Chifundo to the artisans in 2009.  She is currently in Italy working on a series of abstract paintings entitled “Identity” which explore the issue of culture and integration.
